Memories of IFBM2014 & The Sparkling Himalayan spritzers
  • xbdtsp Fennel seeds
  • 1 polo ring crushed
  • 1tbsp Rose syrup
  • 2 – 3tbsp pomegranate juicefresh (I added this just for the colour)
  • 2tsp Lime juicefresh
  • waterA bottle of Himalayan Sparkling
  • 4 – 5 Icecubes
  • Rose petalsfor garnishing
  1. Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of a tall glass.
  2. Turn the glass upside down & dip the rim in caster sugar.
  3. Invert and add the torn Betel leaves, crushed polo ring and Fennel seeds.
  4. Use a muddler to lightly crush and mix everything.
  5. Add the Rose syrup,Pomegranate juice & Lime juice (you may adjust quantities to your taste)
  6. Add ice cubes to the glass and pour sparkling Himalayan water over it.
  7. Garnish with fresh rose petals and serve immediately.
  8. Chatpata Starfruit- Cucumber Spritzer
  9. 3-4 slices of starfruit
  10. 4-5 round cucumber slices
  11. 1 slice of a tangerine cut into wedges
  12. xbd tsp Sugar
  13. 5-6 mint leaves torn
  14. 1 tsp Jal jeera powder
  15. 1 tsp fresh lime juice
  16. 1 pinch crushed black pepper
  17. 4-5 Ice cubes
  18. Muddle together the starfruits, cucumber,Tangerine wedges & mint leaves in a serving glass
  19. Add the Jal Jeera, sugar, Lime juice,crushed black pepper and mix.
  20. Add ice cubes & pour sparkling Himalayan water over it
  21. Serve immediately
